Limited Warranty and Technical support statement
General Terms
Next Generation Computer Consulting, Inc. hereafter referred to as N.G. offers
no other warranty outside of the statements made here within this warranty
statement unless documented in writing and signed by a member of the board of
directors of N.G. This limitation includes any and all warranties express or
implied. N.G. also grants no warranties or guaranties as to appropriateness or
fitness of any products of N.G. to any particular job or purpose. N.G. makes no
warranty for third party devices connected to N.G. devices or separate including
software. Any party other than N.G. unless assigned by N.G. tampering with or
working on N.G. built or installed equipment will void any and all warranties
set forth by N.G.
Networking Warranty Terms
N.G. extends a warranty against defect in workmanship on a network configuration
implemented by N.G. for a total period of one year(s) from date of original
implementation. A network implementation will be considered fully completed at
the point in the job when all nodes are accessible on the network in a manner
described in the requested work order. During the warranty period N.G. will
insure that the original nodes on the network will not lose connectivity due to
any network configurations made by N.G. Any Network hardware supplied by N.G.
will be covered under that particular manufacturer’s warranty. Any N.G. supplied
hardware found faulty on an N.G. installed network will be replaced, repaired,
or refunded by N.G. in a timely manner. Any hardware on an N.G. installed
network not supplied by N.G. will be replaced by an appropriate party; either
that particular devices manufacturer or agent thereof or N.G. with permission
from that particular devices manufacturer.
Terms and Duration of Network Warranty
N.G. will warrant network implementations for a period of one year(s) under the
provision stated above. The warranty period of one year will be determined by
the completion date on the invoices held in N.G.’s records as well as the
client’s records. Upon discovery of a communications loss N.G. will investigate
the problem promptly after the incident is reported to N.G. Because of the
nature of a Network, N.G. will only service networks that have remained
un-changed by parties other than N.G. Any network found to have been modified by
any party other than N.G. or a representative thereof will forfeit all warranty
privileges set forth by N.G.
Computer Warranty Terms
N.G. warrants all hardware within a N.G. built computer against defect in
manufacture and workmanship in assembly. All hardware pieces originally
installed by N.G. are warranted under a repair, replace, or refund warranty. Any
part found faulty by N.G. shall be dealt with by N.G. or an authorized repair
technician assigned by N.G.. Upon determining a device within current warranty
is faulty N.G. holds the right to decide upon a course of action for servicing
that device. N.G. will either repair the device to like new status; replace the
device with a new or like new device, or refund the money for that particular
device. In cases were repeated attempts at repairing the device have failed
refunding the original purchase price of the device may take precedence. When a
device is replaced by N.G. the replaced part becomes property of N.G., and the
replacement part assumes the warranty status of the old part for the duration of
the original warranty. N.G. does not warrant any software on a N.G. built and
sold computer installed by N.G. or the user
Terms and duration of Computer warranty
Proof of the purchase date will determine the start of your warranty period.
This proof will be derived from your original invoice and N.G.’s records.
N.G. extends this limited warranty for a period of one year on all parts
supplied by N.G.. N.G. will service your computer at your location at N.G.'s
discretion (provided that location is within an 85 mile radius of your location
upon original sale of the computer). N.G. will offer 90 days of telephone
support only for preinstalled operating systems; this support will only cover
basic use and configuration of the operating system
Recommendations and Limitations of Liability
IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO BACKUP ALL DATA ON ANY TECHNOLOGY DEVICE.
IT IS A GOOD PRACTICE TO BACK UP YOUR DATA FREQUENTLY. N.G. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY LOST DATA ON A N.G. BUILT AND SOLD COMPUTER. N.G. WILL NOT BE HELD
LIABLE FOR ANY DOWN TIME OR DATA LOSS CAUSED BY ANY OTHER PARTIES DEVICES ON A
NETWORK INSTALLED BY N.G. N.G. DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTY THAT ANY OF ITS
PRODUCTS WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT INTERUPTION OR BREAK IN SERVICE. N.G. WILL NOT
COMPENSATE FOR ANY TIME OR MONIES LOST DUE TO DOWN TIME, DATA LOSS, OR FAILURE
WITHIN A DEVICE.
N.G. WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR SECURITY BREACHES ON A NETWORK CAUSED BY ANY
PARTY OTHER THAN N.G. N.G. WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DOWN TIME ON A
NETWORK CAUSED BY A THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS INCLUDING WIDE AREA NETWORKS
AND THE SERVICES BRIDGING THE LOCATIONS ON A WAN.
Confidentiality Statement
All communications between Next Generation Computer Consulting, Inc. staff and
the clients they serve are strictly confidential. Any and all information
provided to Next Generation Computer Consulting, Inc. by you as a client,
including any and all information happened upon during and/or as a result of
access to your computer(s), remains at all times strictly within your control.
Next Generation Computer Consulting, Inc. will not release or disclose any
information furnished by you without your explicit consent and approval.
